POSITION: Junior staff, Operations
REPORTING TO: AVP Operations
TO BE BACKED UP BY: Junior staff in Operations
RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Ensure all transactions concluded are in compliance with Internal Control Procedures as well as the local rules and regulations.
2 Handling of Import L/C issuance, amendment, documentary collection; export L/C collection / negotiation ; guarantee issuance.
3 Familiar with UCP600 and ISBP.
4 Report any irregularities and incredulous transactions to the supervisory role.
5 Prepare the SAFE/PBoC related regulatory Returns, Departmental Statistics and other Statutory Reporting. Ensure the accuracy of figures reported and compliance of the regulations.
6 Closely work with the relevant operation dept. in
7 Handle daily transactions and capture trades via the appropriate system terminals ensuring the quality of data.
8 Actively support the business units in providing value-add comments.
9 Act as the prime contact for external clients on all matters relating to the day-to-day processing of business.
10 Proactive interaction with other dept. in

Qualifications/Requirements
1. Minimum 1- 2 years experience in foreign banks
2. CDCS is preferred.
3. Self-motivated, willingness to take actions initiatively
4. Quick learner and team player
